Nomination for Alternative Collection Location

Please complete and submit application request 2 weeks prior to verge collection commencing in your area.

*NOTE*: Please use the verge area where you present your bins for emptying.

*We do not access battleaxe blocks driveways for collection.

*Use laneways sensibly as required.

No alternative collection form is required for the above scenario's.

Alternative locations must be at least one metre away from any obstructions such as fences, reticulation, services, trees,garden structures and have access for an articulated loader. Owners are to ensure that means exist on the property(other than tethering) for effectively confining any pets and/or livestock to the property and ensure that they do not interfere with the City’s officers, employees or contractors employees whilst they are collecting materials from the verge or alternative location.

The City, its officers, employees or contractors take no responsibility for any pet/livestock that may escape from the property.

*Note:

1. It is a requirement of access that the collection area be clear of obstructions. Should this requirement not be met thenthe City’s officers, employees or contractor may, at their sole discretion refuse to collect the items.
2. The City reserves the right to allow or disallow any location at its sole discretion.
3. All other terms and conditions for the collection verge waste are to apply.

I the undersigned, hereby understand by nominating an alternative location for the City of Armadale verge collection, I hereby indemnify the City, it’s officers and contractors for all and any liabilities for injury, loss or damages sustained to person or property, except to the extent of liability which is caused by the Wilful Misconduct or a negligent act or omission of the contractor, the City or the City’s personnel. The applicant also acknowledges that the information held or compiled by the City of Armadale in relation to this application is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
