Application to carry out Works in a Road Reserve

Please complete this application and submit to the City of Armadale, together with any relevant documents to support the application.

Road closures are to be avoided and traffic flows and movements are to be maintained at all times. A Traffic Management Plan will be required for most works in road reserves even where works obstruct footpaths only.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to advertise prospective works in a state-wide newspaper and notify emergency services and affected residents at least 14 days prior to the works. The costs incurred will be met by the applicant.

Applicant Details

Works in A Road Reserve Permit

A Works in a Road Reserve (WIRR) Permit will incur an inspection/administration fee of $500 (GST ex) and a refundable bond of $3,000 (minimum).

Please note this is the minimum bond amount and may be increased depending upon the likely impact on the City’s infrastructure and the work being carried out.

Traffic Management Permit

Submission of a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will incur a minimum application fee of $300 (GST ex). The Traffic Management plan must be submitted at least 7 days before the activity is proposed to be undertaken.
