Application to keep more than two Dogs –Section 26 Exemption
Section 3(22) of the City of Armadale’s Dog Local Law prescribes in the First Schedule a limitation on the number 2 of dogs that can be kept at a property. For all properties with an area of land less than 4,000 m an application to keep more than two dogs is required. A non-refundable application fee of $150 is payable at the time of application.

By completing this application you will be applying for an exemption to be granted by the City of Armadale, as provided in section 26 of the Dog Act 1976 (as amended), in order to permit you to keep the dogs referred to in this application. Once permission is granted it will only be for the dogs listed in the application. Permission is not transferable if an approved dog is no longer living at the property and if you acquire a new dog, a new application will be required for each additional dog.

As part of the application process, I am aware that a City of Armadale Ranger will undertake an inspection of my property to ensure the information provided meets Council's Policy requirements.

I acknowledge that the City of Armadale may at any time withdraw or amend the terms of any exemption which may at any time be granted with respect to Section 26 of the Dog Act 1976 (as amended).

I hereby agree to pay a non-refundable application fee of $150, to cover Administration costs, payable at time oflodgement. Payment of this fee does not guarantee that the exemption will be granted.
