The crossover shall be inspected and approved by the City’s Administration and Compliance officer prior to the payment of the subsidy. A residential crossover may be eligible for a subsidy provided:
✔ No crossover has previously been constructed* and a subsidy has not been paid previously;
✔ The crossover has been constructed in accordance with the City’s specifications;
✔ You have attached copies of all material and contractor receipts associated with the work, which should include the sub- base material (gravel, road base etc), sand, pavers, concrete and asphalt supplied. If your Builder completed the crossover written confirmation is required from them confirming the cost of construction.
*In addition, a subsidy may be paid to a current owner of a property who upgrades an ‘old damaged Asphalt crossover’ which is considered by the City to have served its useful life.
